The Challenge 

A national manufacturer was experiencing rapid growth, opening new shifts and eventually launching a new plant. To sustain production, manage workforce expansion, and uphold quality standards, they needed to quickly hire leadership roles in maintenance, quality, and plant operations. These positions were critical to ensuring operational stability and efficiency during a period of accelerated demand. The urgency was high: without strong leaders in place, production and growth plans would have been at risk. 

The Solution

This resulted in the placement of a Maintenance Manager and a Second Shift Superintendent, both of whom provided immediate stability to operations. To further strengthen compliance and drive process improvements, TRN later placed a Quality Manager. 

When the manufacturer expanded into California in 2024, they once again turned to TRN. We placed a Plant Superintendent to establish strong leadership from day one, ensuring the new facility had the foundation needed for long-term success. Our consultative approach ensured candidates not only met technical requirements but also aligned with the company’s strategic vision for growth.

The Maintenance Manager placed by TRN quickly demonstrated exceptional impact, earning a promotion to Operations Manager within six months and advancing to Vice President of Operations in less than two years. This rapid progression underscored the quality of TRN’s placements and reinforced the company’s confidence in our process.
