The challenge
This client was in a unique situation where the original company had been in existence for decades but was purchased by an invest group who chose to sell off all the existing business assets to raise the capital to launch a new start-up company while leveraging most of the existing employees. The new business grew rapidly and quickly outpaced the technological capabilities in place. A new CIO was hired to build out an IT organization capable of supporting the business and its projected growth. While the IT organization was planned to be mostly in Nebraska there was also a need to place IT talent in New York and a future office in Indiana.
The solution
TRN sourced and recruited for a wide range of positions across multiple locations as quickly as the client could onboard them to assist the CIO in building a new IT organization. In the process we often developed and co-authored the job descriptions for the roles, facilitated all interviews, facilitated consensus meetings surrounding interviews and aided with onboarding and management support after the placement.
The result
Sourced and recruited over 15 highly skilled IT professionals to fill the roles mentioned above in a period of 18 months. Placing candidates in multiple locations for the client, including some key resources, working fully remote.
