Job Description
An established manufacturing company in Vidalia, GA, is seeking a dependable Production Associate to support daily manufacturing operations. In this role, you will operate production equipment, assemble insulation products, inspect finished materials, and prepare completed orders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable following work instructions, and committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery, verify materials against work orders, and prepare equipment for production.
- Perform quality inspections, document results, and ensure finished products meet established standards.
- Assemble, label, package, and prepare finished products according to work instructions.
- Record production quantities, track materials used, and accurately complete production documentation.
- Maintain clean work areas, identify equipment concerns, and notify maintenance personnel when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Ability to read a ruler to within 1/16 of an inch and perform basic math calculations, including fractions and linear or square footage.
- Ability to understand basic drawings and follow work instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and perform assigned manufacturing tasks.
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with or without material handling equipment.
- Ability to follow established safety procedures. Temporary associates are not authorized to perform lockout/tagout (LOTO), preventive or corrective maintenance, or train other associates.
