Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Technician to join its first-shift production team. In this hands-on role, you will operate manufacturing equipment, inspect parts, and assist with stamping, heat treating, deburring, and other production processes. Previous stamping press or machine setup experience is not required, as hands-on training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn new manufacturing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including stamping presses, following established procedures.
- Load and unload materials and assist with heat treating, deburring, and other production activities.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Learn basic machine adjustments, tooling procedures, and equipment troubleshooting through hands-on training.
- Follow work instructions, maintain production records, and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Basic math and measuring skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate-to-loud noise and moving machinery.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, blueprint reading, or measuring tool experience preferred but not required.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Availability to work Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with optional overtime on Fridays.

The base pay for this position is $19 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
