Job Description
An established distribution operation is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator II to support daily warehouse activities. In this role, you will operate powered industrial equipment to move, store, pick, and prepare merchandise for shipment. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, meet productivity expectations, and ensure products are handled safely and efficiently. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented equipment operator who values safety, teamwork, and an organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate powered industrial equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and store merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders for shipment while verifying product quantities and accuracy.
- Use radio frequency (RF) equipment to complete picking, receiving, putaway, and loading activities.
- Inspect equipment daily, report maintenance or safety concerns, and identify product damage or inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, meet productivity standards, and follow established safety procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar warehouse equipment operator position.
- Demonstrated experience operating material handling equipment and using RF equipment.
- Order Picker Certification and Powered Industrial Truck Certification required.
- Ability to handle boxes weighing up to 70 pounds, including repetitive bending, squatting, and twisting.
- Ability to perform warehouse duties involving prolonged standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and occasional kneeling or crouching.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and established workplace safety requirements.

The base pay range for this position is $41,600 – $45,760, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
