A well-established agricultural organization is seeking an experienced VP, Credit & Ag Lender to manage and grow lending relationships across a multi-state territory. This position is ideal for a lender who has a passion for the grain & livestock industry and enjoys building long-term relationships directly with producers. The role combines credit analysis and portfolio management with business development, offering the opportunity to inherit established client relationships while continuing to grow new business. This position is based in the Omaha office with regular travel throughout an eight- to nine-state territory.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and service agricultural credit relationships with a focus on livestock financing
• Analyze borrower financials, tax returns, credit information, and collateral
• Prepare credit summaries, trend analyses, and recommendations for loan committee
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and agricultural partners
• Prospect and develop new lending relationships throughout the territory
• Monitor livestock inventory and other information related to customer credit facilities
• Evaluate lending risk using knowledge of livestock markets, feed costs, and agricultural operations
• Travel regularly to meet with customers and prospects throughout the assigned territory

Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of agricultural lending experience
• Strong knowledge of agricultural lending and credit analysis
• Cattle or livestock lending experience strongly preferred
• Understanding of agricultural risk management, hedging, or marketing practices preferred
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• Business development or sales experience within agricultural lending
• Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Economics, Animal Science, or related field preferred
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel regularly
