Job Description
Join a respected nonprofit organization as an Education Partnerships Temp, supporting education partners, including colleges and universities, throughout the Houston area. This role focuses on community engagement, partner relationships, customer service, training, program coordination, and issue resolution. You will collaborate with internal teams and community partners to support education programming, coordinate food resources, maintain accurate program data, and help measure program impact. This position requires regular travel throughout the organization's service area.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, community partners, pantries, researchers, and service providers while supporting education-focused programming.
- Coordinate education partnership activities, including food-resource logistics, program data collection, partner communications, meetings, orientations, training, and compliance monitoring.
- Provide exceptional customer service and problem resolution to internal and external stakeholders while responding to partner calls, emails, questions, and program needs.
- Maintain accurate program information, documents, reports, and records across platforms including Salesforce, SharePoint, Asana, Link2Feed, and other electronic systems.
- Prepare reports and presentations, participate in community meetings and events, and represent the organization while supporting collaborative education initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Social Sciences, or a closely related field preferred; related casework or case management experience may also be considered.
- 1–3 years of related experience with strong customer service, communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software systems and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance. Travel of up to 50% may be required throughout the organization's 18-county service area.
- Must be comfortable working independently, communicating with diverse populations, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.

The base pay for this position is $21.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
