Job Description
A global organization is seeking a Senior Tax Manager – Income Tax to lead key aspects of its global income tax compliance, planning, reporting, audits, and tax strategy. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership position responsible for managing global income tax operations while leading and developing a team of two tax professionals. The organization has invested heavily in its tax technology, global ERP, automation, and reporting infrastructure. Rather than serving as a technology implementation role, this position will focus on tax operations, people leadership, process ownership, and using existing technology to continually improve the efficiency and quality of the tax function.

This position provides the opportunity to take ownership of global income tax processes while working closely with Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Legal, outside tax advisors, and business leaders across approximately 25 countries.
What You Will Do
- Lead and develop two tax professionals
- Manage U.S. and international income tax compliance and reporting
- Support global tax provision, ASC 740, audits, transfer pricing, and tax planning
- Partner with outside tax firms and internal Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and Legal teams
- Oversee tax data, reconciliations, reporting, and filing requirements
- Use ERP systems, automation, and technology to improve tax processes and efficiency
- Support cross-border tax matters, M&A activity, and legislative changes
- Improve tax processes, tools, and procedures across the department
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field
- Eight or more years of corporate tax or accounting experience preferred
- Five or more years of management experience preferred
- Strong corporate income tax and ASC 740 experience
- Meaningful in-house corporate tax experience
- Global or international tax exposure
- Experience leading and developing tax professionals
- Experience working with ERP systems and tax data
- Strong process improvement and technology mindset
- Big Four or public accounting experience combined with industry experience preferred
- CPA and/or master’s degree preferred
- Oracle, Alteryx, UiPath, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technology experience is a plus

The base salary range for this position is $170K–$190K, excluding benefits, bonuses, and other compensation. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon.
