Billing Clerk, Accountant | Onsite | DH | $55-65K
Join an established organization seeking a Staff Accountant who can specialize in A/R & Billing processes to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience in billing, accounts receivable, and operational accounting. This position will work closely with an experienced accounting team and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule
- Support accounts receivable and billing activities
- Review billing information and supporting documentation for accuracy
- Research and resolve invoice and account discrepancies
- Assist with account reconciliations and other accounting activities
- Maintain accurate customer and transaction records
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve billing questions
- Provide support for payroll-related activities as needed
- Assist with month-end accounting responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting and billing processes
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- 0–2 years of accounting, billing, AR, or related experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with Excel and learning new accounting systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Dependable and team-oriented approach
- Comfortable working in an onsite environment
