Job Description
An established manufacturing company in Mentor, OH, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who can set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes. This position requires hands-on setup and programming experience and is not an operator-only role. The ideal candidate will be proficient in blueprint reading, comfortable working independently with their own tools, and experienced with both mills and lathes.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints proficiently to complete machining work
- Prepare machines, tooling, and setups for production
- Use personal machinist tools as required to perform assigned work
- Monitor machining operations to support accurate, quality production
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience setting up and programming CNC mills and lathes is required
- Ability to operate CNC mills and lathes after completing machine setup
- Proficient blueprint-reading skills
