The main function of a packer is to pack or package by hand a wide variety of products and materials.
Job Responsibilities:
• Measure, weight, and count products and materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Transport packages to customers' vehicles. Skills:
• Verbal communication skills and team player.
• Basic problem-solving
Skills:
• Basic knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects. Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or GED typically required.
• 0-2 years experience required.

The base salary range for this position is $17.00/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
