Job Description: As a Welder, you will be a vital contributor to the steel shop. Your expertise will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that, with good attendance and a strong work ethic, can lead to a long and rewarding career with numerous opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of MIG welding machine
- Daily Operation
- Responsible for coordinating fabrication layouts
- Must have blueprint reading experience and able to read a tape measure
- Math abilities in include being able to add and subtract proficiently
- Able to follow detailed instruction
Qualifications and Requirements:
- high school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of related welding experience
- Welding Certification preferred
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and technical specifications
- Ability to read and understand piece tickets
