Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Rigger to support lifting, material handling, and production operations in an industrial environment. The Rigger will prepare, secure, lift, move, and position heavy equipment, machinery, materials, and components using cranes, hoists, slings, chains, cables, and other rigging equipment. This role requires strong knowledge of safe lifting practices, attention to detail, and clear communication with crane operators and other team members.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect slings, chains, cables, hooks, shackles, and other rigging equipment before use and remove damaged equipment from service.
• Select the appropriate rigging equipment based on load size, weight, shape, center of gravity, and lifting points.
• Attach, secure, guide, lift, move, position, and lower heavy materials and equipment safely using cranes and hoists.
• Communicate with crane operators using approved hand signals, radios, and established lifting procedures.
• Assist with loading, unloading, equipment relocation, installation, and other material-handling or production duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Previous rigging experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or heavy-equipment environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, hoists, load capacities, and safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to inspect rigging equipment, identify unsafe conditions, and follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Forklift, overhead crane, or other material-handling equipment experience is a plus.

The base pay range for this position is $20.00-$22.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
