Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate with stand-up and sit-down forklift experience to support daily warehouse operations. In this role, you will assist with receiving, shipping, order picking, inventory replenishment, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady hours and the potential for long-term employment with a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to receive, store, replenish, and move inventory safely.
- Pick, pack, load, and unload products while ensuring accurate labeling and inventory control.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages, shortages, or overages and report discrepancies.
- Follow all safety, food safety, sanitation, and warehouse procedures while meeting productivity goals.
- Maintain reliable attendance and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience required.
- Previous stand-up and sit-down forklift experience required.
- Experience in food warehousing, retail, or food distribution preferred.
- Ability to obtain company forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
