Job Description
We are seeking an organized and dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. In this role, you will process inbound and outbound shipments, maintain accurate records, and communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using computer systems, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
● Prepare, review, and process shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and delivery paperwork.
● Verify incoming and outgoing freight against purchase orders, shipment records, and customer requirements.
● Enter shipment and inventory information accurately into warehouse or logistics systems.
● Coordinate with drivers, carriers, warehouse associates, and office personnel regarding appointments, shipment status, and discrepancies. ● Investigate and report damaged, missing, overage, or incorrect freight while maintaining organized records.
Qualifications and Requirements
● Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse clerical, or logistics experience is preferred.
● Basic computer skills, including data entry, email, and Microsoft Office; experience with a warehouse management system is a plus.
● Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and basic math skills.
● Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a busy warehouse environment.
● Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility as needed; must follow all site safety procedures. Benefits and Perks
