Job Description
An established manufacturing company is seeking a Hand Punch Machine Operator to support its production operations. In this role, you will operate hand punch equipment, use jigs for different product styles, and work with hand tools and measuring equipment. The position offers a varied workload and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a safety-focused approach. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience using pneumatic or pedal-activated machinery who is willing to learn multiple production functions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate hand punch machinery and use jigs, hand tools, hammers, punches, and measuring equipment
- Read rulers, scales, and calipers accurately to support quality production
- Adjust to changing daily production needs and perform a variety of assigned tasks
- Maintain attention to detail and follow established safety practices
- Train and assist in multiple positions or departments as production needs require
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in a similar manufacturing or production environment using pneumatic equipment or pedal-activated machinery
- Ability to accurately read a ruler, scale, and caliper
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and sit for extended periods
- Willingness and ability to train in multiple positions and departments
- Must be available to work 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Must follow workplace dress and safety requirements, including appropriate work attire without loose or baggy sleeves; tennis shoes or steel-toe shoes are preferred
