This opportunity is ideal for a public accounting professional who enjoys managing audit engagements, developing client relationships, and mentoring staff but wants a firm where there is room to build a long-term career. You'll take ownership of client engagements, work directly with firm leadership, and have a track to partnership for the right candidate.
A hybrid work option is available, providing additional flexibility outside of client and in-office needs.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion
- Manage multiple client engagements, timelines, and deliverables
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Review audit workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance
- Identify accounting, reporting, and internal control issues and communicate recommendations to clients
- Work directly with clients to understand their operations, accounting processes, and financial reporting needs
- Provide guidance and technical support throughout audit engagements
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff assigned to engagements
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client service, engagement management, and growth initiatives
- Assist with other accounting and client advisory needs as appropriate
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 2–4+ years of audit experience within public accounting
- Strong understanding of audit procedures, financial statements, and accounting principles
- Experience managing or taking significant ownership of audit engagements
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
- Experience reviewing work and providing direction to junior staff
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to communicate technical accounting and audit matters clearly to clients
- Desire to continue developing leadership responsibilities and client ownership
- Interest in a long-term partner-track opportunity
