This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional who wants to move beyond simply managing engagements. You'll develop and manage your own client portfolio, mentor staff, work directly with firm leadership, and have a track to partnership for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients
- Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and other clients
- Provide tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts
- Plan, prepare, and review tax returns
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
- Provide accounting, consulting, and other non-attest services
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting and financial matters
- Supervise and mentor staff while helping develop future leaders
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client service and growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 3-5+ years of audit and/or tax experience in public accounting
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and multiple engagements
- Strong project management and supervisory experience
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex accounting and financial concepts effectively
- Desire to take ownership of client relationships and develop into a larger leadership role
- Interest in a long-term partner-track opportunity
- Farm and agricultural tax experience is a plus, but not required
