Job Description
An established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Material Handler / Tow Motor Driver to support material movement, shipping and receiving, inventory, and production operations. This role requires prior tow motor experience in a manufacturing environment, not solely warehouse experience. You will load and unload trucks, pick orders, support production areas, and help maintain accurate inventory. Experience handling steel coils is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a tow motor to safely move materials throughout a manufacturing environment
- Load and unload semis, box trucks, and incoming or outgoing shipments
- Pick orders and provide warehouse and manufacturing support as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with material tracking
- Load and unload steel coils from flatbed trucks and at work centers when qualified and experienced
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous tow motor driving experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience loading and unloading semis and box trucks
- Order picking and inventory control experience
- Strong attendance and dependability
- Computer, scanner, and scale experience preferred
- Experience loading and unloading steel coils from flatbed trucks and at work centers preferred
