Job Description
A warehouse and industrial operation in Burlington, NC is seeking a Painter for a temporary project expected to last approximately 2–4 months. This position will prepare and paint warehouse and industrial spaces using rollers and brushes. The Painter will complete surface preparation, including scraping, sanding, priming, taping, and filling rough patches to ensure a clean, professional finish. General cleaning and preparation duties will also be performed as needed throughout the project.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by taping, scraping, sanding, priming, and filling rough or damaged areas
- Apply paint to warehouse and industrial surfaces using rollers and brushes
- Clean work areas and surfaces before, during, and after painting activities
- Maintain an organized work area and properly handle painting and preparation materials
- Perform general cleaning, preparation, and other project-related duties as required to complete the work
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience with painting, surface preparation, warehouse maintenance, construction, or similar work preferred
- Ability to use paint rollers, brushes, scrapers, sanding tools, and other basic painting supplies
- 6 months prior painting experience required
- Ability to follow instructions and complete detailed surface preparation and painting tasks
- Ability to work Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM for the duration of the project
- Ability to work safely and maintain a clean, organized industrial work area

The base pay range for this position is $16.50–$18.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
