Job Description
A growing production operation in Mebane, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support its third-shift team. In this role, you will operate a forklift, move materials, and palletize products in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, can manage multiple tasks, and is comfortable working extended shifts and overtime based on production needs.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely to transport materials throughout the facility
- Palletize, organize, and prepare products for movement or shipment
- Load, unload, and stage materials in designated areas
- Verify materials and products for accuracy and proper placement
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of prior forklift operating experience
- Ability to work third shift with an 11:00 p.m. start time
- Ability to work 8- to 12-hour shifts and overtime based on production needs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace instructions
