Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Quoting Clerk to support its sales, customer service, and production teams. In this role, you will prepare customer quotations, enter shop orders, maintain product specifications, coordinate deliveries, and provide exceptional customer support. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys working with detailed information, and excels at managing multiple priorities while delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations based on product specifications.
- Enter and maintain shop orders and update product specifications and records.
- Serve as a backup for customer service by answering customer inquiries and processing orders.
- Monitor open orders, coordinate deliveries, and provide shipment tracking updates.
- Collaborate with production and scheduling teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer communication.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, quoting, order entry, or manufacturing administration preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple office functions.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

The base pay range for this position is $17.00-$17.25 hr, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
