Job Description
As a Machine Operator I, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. You will learn machine setup procedures, perform basic equipment adjustments, and ensure products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment while meeting production and quality standards.
- Perform basic machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers under supervision.
- Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Report equipment issues promptly and assist with troubleshooting and minor adjustments.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following GMP and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support efficient operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn automated production equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, teamwork, and communication skills.

The base pay range for this position is $20/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
