Pallet Repair Technician | $17.50 | Wednesday – Friday, 4:00am – 4:00pm

Job Description: 

In this position, you will play a key role in the pallet sorting process by manually sorting wooden pallets, identifying pallet grades, and separating damaged pallets. You will help maintain an organized and safe work environment by ensuring debris is removed and pallets are properly sorted. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. 

Responsibilities:

· Inspect pallets to determine repair requirements 

· Repair damaged pallets by replacing boards and structural components 

· Operate air-driven, electric, pneumatic, and manual woodworking tools safely and efficiently 

· Ensure repaired pallets meet quality and safety standards 

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Follow all safety procedures and workplace regulations 

· Assist with general pallet management duties as assigned 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 · Ability to lift, push, pull, and stack wooden pallets regularly 

· Quick hands with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality 

· Observance of all safety rules and regulations

· Ability to communicate effectively 

· Excellent oral and written communication skills 

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardized requirements exist 

· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form 

· Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, pneumatic, and manual woodworking tools 

· Previous experience in welding, lumbering, construction, carpentry, roofing, or related trades is strongly preferred

· Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
