Job Description
A fastener manufacturing company serving the automotive industry is seeking a Manual Packline Associate in Medina, Ohio. This position is responsible for manually packing, inspecting, labeling, and preparing fasteners for shipment according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with steady 2nd shift hours and long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities:
· Manually pack fasteners such as bolts, nuts, screws, washers, clips, and other automotive components into bags, boxes, cartons, totes, or customer-specific containers
· Inspect parts and packaging for defects, mixed parts, incorrect labels, damage, or quantity errors
· Verify part numbers, work orders, labels, packaging instructions, lot numbers, and customer requirements
· Apply labels, barcodes, lot numbers, and customer identification tags accurately to finished packages
· Record production quantities, quality checks, scrap, and other required documentation
· Inspect parts and packaging for defects, mixed parts, incorrect labels, damage, or quantity errors

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Previous manufacturing, packaging, assembly, machine operation, or warehouse experience preferred
· Ability to read work orders, labels, part numbers, and packaging instructions
· Strong attention to detail to help prevent mixed parts, labeling errors, and packaging issues
· Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive hand and arm movements
· Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
