Test Technician 1st shift | $21.50/hr.+ based on experience | 6am-2:30pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician I to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform operational testing, troubleshooting, inspection, and documentation activities on specialized equipment while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This position offers stable hours, hands-on technical work, and opportunities for long-term career growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform operational run testing, including leak testing on HVAC-related equipment
- Operate electronic test equipment and refrigeration charge equipment
- Record and document test results electronically and in written formats
- Test, troubleshoot, and assist with repair of heaters, control units, and related systems
- Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Accurately report production and testing data
- Assist with cycle counting, material handling, and general production support as needed
- Maintain quality, safety, and company standards throughout all work activities
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, testing, or technical experience preferred
- Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, and written instructions
- Experience using hand tools, small power tools, computerized equipment, or high-pressure equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to accurately document and communicate test results
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead, and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings

The base salary for this position is $21.50/hr. or more based on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
