Job Description
In this position, you will support a the Maintenance Team around multiple facilities by performing industrial and residential-style maintenance across multiple sites. You will help keep buildings, equipment, and work areas operating safely and efficiently through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, and general facility support.
This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong safety awareness, mechanical aptitude, and experience using hand and power tools in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial and facility maintenance duties across multiple company sites
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to support safe and reliable business operations
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and assist with repairs involving carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools while following established safety practices
- Assist with equipment, building, and grounds maintenance as needed
- Work from ladders and perform tasks that require regular lifting of 30-50 pounds
- Learn and safely operate forklifts, man lifts, and other facility equipment as needed
- Communicate maintenance needs, safety concerns, and project updates with leadership and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Preferred three or more years of maintenance experience
- Knowledge of basic trades including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing preferred
- Core understanding of workplace safety and proper use of hand and power tools
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds regularly and work on ladders
- Ability to provide basic hand tools and power tools within the first 60 days of employment
- Electrical experience or CDL certification is a plus
- Good communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to support a team environment
- Must have own tools to be considered
