Job Description
A Filler is primarily responsible for accurately filling finished products into the proper packaging. Packaging may include cans, pails, drums, totes, or other containers. This position may involve working with a variety of industrial or consumer products.
Responsibilities:
- Operating and tending to production equipment and machinery.
- Preparing products for delivery, storage, and handling.
- Moving materials to support a smooth workflow.
- Inspecting equipment to help ensure safe operation.
- Communicating with appropriate team members when inventory is low.
- Reading and following work orders or production instructions.
- Verifying correct labels, packaging, and quantities.
- Following the daily production schedule as directed by leadership.
- Operating automated labeling equipment as needed.
- Driving a forklift as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the labeling area
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate labeling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling
- Basic math skills and ability to track inventory
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred
