Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated YouthBuild Instructor to provide classroom instruction, workforce readiness training, and mentorship to young adults participating in the YouthBuild program. This position plays a key role in helping participants develop academic, vocational, and life skills that support long-term success. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, community engagement, and empowering youth to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver classroom instruction and workforce development training to program participants
• Develop and implement lesson plans that support educational and career readiness goals
• Monitor participant progress, attendance, and performance while maintaining accurate records
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to help participants overcome barriers to success
• Collaborate with program staff, community partners, and employers to support participant outcomes

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience teaching, training, mentoring, or working with youth and young adults
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate, engage, and support individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
