Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal II to provide comprehensive legal, litigation, contracts, and administrative support within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position will assist attorneys with litigation management, contract administration, regulatory compliance, claims investigations, and legal documentation while serving as a key liaison between departments, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation, claims, EEOC, and contract files while maintaining electronic and paper records.
- Draft, review, and edit pleadings, discovery, settlement agreements, contracts, correspondence, and legal documentation.
- Coordinate court filings, docket deadlines, hearings, witness meetings, and case preparation activities.
- Monitor contracts through PeopleSoft, generate reports, collaborate with Finance and Purchasing, and serve as Contract Monitoring Officer.
- Provide administrative and legal support including subpoena management, public information requests, Board reports, audit documentation, and scheduling support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of paralegal experience supporting litigation, contracts, employment law, or claims management.
- Experience with electronic court filings, legal research, case management, and document preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems; PeopleSoft experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage confidential information and deadlines.

The base pay for this position is $30.36, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
