We are seeking a skilled and dependable Forklift Mechanic to support equipment maintenance and operational functions in a fast-paced service environment. This role is responsible for transporting equipment, performing preventative maintenance and repairs on LPG and electric forklifts, diagnosing mechanical and electronic issues, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service and operational support.
Responsibilities
• Transport equipment to and from customer locations as needed
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on LPG and electric forklifts
• Diagnose and troubleshoot forklift operational and mechanical issues
• Use problem-solving skills to resolve complex equipment challenges
• Provide technical and IT-related support for forklift systems when needed
• Assist the Operational Service Manager with service coordination and customer support
• Coordinate procurement and organization of tools and replacement parts
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently during emergency situations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and customer interactions accurately
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company guidelines
• Stay current on industry trends, equipment updates, and technical advancements
Qualifications and Requirements .
• Previous forklift maintenance or industrial equipment repair experience preferred
• Knowledge of LPG, electric, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Valid driver’s license may be required
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more as needed
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
