Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating conventional and CNC machining equipment to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts according to blueprint specifications and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC machining equipment including mills, lathes, drill presses, and machining centers
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, squares, and height gauges
- Accurately record labor time and inventory transactions using ERP systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, 5S programs, and quality, environmental, and safety policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate degree or completion of an apprenticeship in Machine/Tool & Die Technology preferred
- 3–5 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment
- Experience setting up and operating both conventional and CNC machining equipment
- Strong blueprint reading, precision measuring, and mathematical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and maintain tight tolerances

The base salary range for this position is $22-$28 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
