Job Description
A well-established manufacturing business with over 60 years of success is seeking a hands-on HR & Office Generalist to serve as the primary HR and administrative leader for the organization. This is a highly visible role supporting a close-knit team environment where the right person will act as a trusted advisor to leadership while helping oversee day-to-day HR operations, office management, employee relations, compliance, and company culture.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR resource for employees, managers, and leadership
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention efforts
- Support employee relations, coaching, performance conversations, and engagement initiatives
- Maintain HR compliance with federal and state employment laws including FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, and wage & hour regulations
- Oversee HR records, policy updates, and ongoing compliance/document organization projects
- Coordinate benefits administration and assist with insurance renewals
- Help drive culture, communication, team events, and employee engagement initiatives
- Support office operations, vendor coordination, facilities needs, and administrative staff oversight
- Partner with leadership on process improvements, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or small business environment
- Comfortable balancing strategic HR responsibilities with hands-on administrative support
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and employee relations
- Organized, dependable, and self-directed
- Able to build trust and communicate effectively with employees at all levels
- Experience supporting office operations or administrative functions is highly preferred

The base pay for this position is $65,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
