Job Description
The Receiving Inspector will support both receiving and shipping functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, verifying purchase orders, and ensuring products meet engineering specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with receiving inspection, general metrology equipment, and operating a sit-down forklift. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Place incoming materials into Arrived Status in the MRP system
- Verify quantities against purchase orders and inspect parts to engineering specifications
- Receive acceptable purchase orders into the MRP system
- Support quality processes including First Article Inspections and NCR documentation
- Operate a sit-down forklift and assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in receiving and inspection within a manufacturing environment
- Experience using metrology equipment including calipers, verniers, and height gauges
- Working knowledge of MS Office and MRP systems; IFS experience is a plus
- Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks and obtain certification

The base pay range for this position is $43,000–$52,000 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
