Job Description
The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources department by ensuring accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR compliance. This position is responsible for managing payroll operations, employee benefits programs, leave administration, and employee records while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now. Responsibilities:
• Administer biweekly payroll processing, including employee changes, deductions, and payroll audits
• Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, terminations, and annual open enrollment
• Ensure compliance with payroll, benefits, and leave laws, including FMLA and employment eligibility documentation
• Generate payroll, benefits, and compliance reports for HR leadership and Finance
• Maintain confidential employee records and assist with HR audits and process improvements

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with direct payroll and benefits administration responsibilities
• Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
• Knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws related to payroll, benefits, and leave administration
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with direct payroll and benefits administration responsibilities
• Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred

The base pay range for this position is $25.00/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
