A leading manufacturer of metal stamped products and services is looking for Machine Operators either in Single Press or Value-add positions. Our client is located in Valley City, Ohio area.
What You Will Do:
- Coordinate specific needs with material handler regarding material/scrap removal, F/G or WIP product removal from line
- Report Miss-hits or problems to the Production Supervisor
- Report Labor time and part count (quantity produced) to the appropriate work order router (online)
- Stamping – in-process inspection as stated on the control plan which may include attribute/variable gages/stop production if parts fall out of specific run/require statistical process controls data collection
- Equipment inspections (safety checks/press maintenance/tool maintenance)
- Product stampings safely/within priority determined/specified runtime
What You Need/Responsibilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must demonstrate the physical ability to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner to the Production Supervisor
- Basic computer skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Able to lift up/carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to reach/bend/push/pull to place or retrieve materials in a production environment
- Able to wear personal Protection Equipment while on the shop floor
