Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Candidates must be safety-focused, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and production systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using tools and diagnostic equipment
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and spare parts inventory
- Assist with installing, assembling, and testing new equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures
- Steel toe boots required; PPE provided
- Must be able to pass a physical examination and drug screening
