Job Description
Step into the role of Crane Operator and support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations in a safety-focused industrial environment. In this position, you will operate overhead cranes to load and unload materials, move product throughout the warehouse, and stage materials for production. Your warehouse experience, attention to detail, and commitment to safe material handling will help keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for a dependable team member who takes pride in accuracy, safety, and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 1/2-ton, 2-ton, and 5-ton overhead cranes to load, unload, transport, and stage materials
- Move materials throughout warehouse and production areas to support manufacturing operations and production schedules
- Load materials into returnable racking systems while ensuring proper placement and product protection
- Inspect materials and equipment before and after movement and report damage, mechanical issues, or safety concerns
- Assist with shipping, receiving, material handling, labeling, storage, and general warehouse duties as needed
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory verification, and accurate material movement documentation
- Follow OSHA, company safety policies, and crane operating procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic warehouse and material handling experience required
- Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic understanding of inventory control and cycle count processes
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, labels, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and work in a physically active environment for extended periods
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus

The base pay rate for this position is $18.50 – $20.00 per hour depending on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
