Job Description
The Electrical Supervisor leads the electrical team in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal plant operations. This position oversees electrical projects, ensures compliance with safety procedures, and identifies preventive maintenance needs to minimize downtime. The role exists to maintain the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and evaluate electrical staff to ensure productivity and engagement
- Oversee and direct electrical installations and maintenance of the facility’s electrical systems
- Enforce compliance with policies and safety standards
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems
- Coordinate with contractors for testing, calibration, and equipment inspections
- Install or modify electrical systems and support equipment upgrades
- Promote continuous improvement and communicate opportunities for operational enhancement
- Maintain a strong safety culture and lead by example in safe work practices
- Ensure reliable attendance and adherence to company standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate's degree in industrial electrical systems, electronics, or engineering technology or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of power plant or heavy industrial experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of the electrical systems and equipment at the generation site.
- Excellent working knowledge of the Hold Tag, Confined Space, Hot Work, Fire Protection, and Emergency Response programs at the Generation site.
- Working knowledge of the computerized maintenance management system.
- Understanding of machine tools, hand tools, and rigging.
- Knowledge of the NEC and its application.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000–$107,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
