Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating projects as efficiently and promptly as possible. Focusing on all the details that are provided in the production drawings and on the job traveler portion of the work order.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a work strategy for each project they are fabricating to be sure the portion of the project is completed within the estimated time, and materials are allocated.
- Demonstrates good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions throughout the fabrication process.
- Ability to properly weld steel and aluminum.
- Maintains cooperative working relationships with other staff members in all departments to ensure the other departments have ample time to complete their part of the project on time.
- Read and understand work orders and production drawings.
- Properly log time in E2 for each project they are working on.
- Confirm the materials used on each project throughout the fabrication process.
- Properly read a tape measure.
- Maintain all equipment being used.
- Responsible for cleaning all areas used at the end of every work shift to maintain the company’s cleanliness standard.
- Ensure supplies are not wasted, and product loss is kept to a minimum.
- Attends all safety meetings and completes all necessary training assigned by the safety manager. Obey all safety rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all employees.
- Obeys all company rules and regulations.
- Willing to assist other team members as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a fabricator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work in a manufacturing environment.

The base salary range for this position is $23.00-$25.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
