Job Description
In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and employees while supporting the daily administrative operations of a family-owned brush manufacturing company that has proudly been in business for over 85 years. The Receptionist will play a key role in maintaining an organized office environment, managing paper filing systems, answering phones, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced office setting.
Responsibilities
· Greet visitors and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
· Maintain organized filing systems for paper documents and office records.
· Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and other clerical duties.
· Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating office activities.
· Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
· Maintain a clean and organized reception and office area.
· Take initiative to support office operations and assist team members as needed.
· Monitor office supplies and notify management when inventory is low.

Qualifications and Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Comfortable handling and maintaining paper filing systems.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and take initiative with daily tasks.
· Professional appearance and positive attitude required.
· Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
