Job Description:
We are partnering with a well-established, family-owned textile manufacturer that has been designing and producing durable industrial textile solutions for more than 50 years. We are seeking a hands-on Cut and Sew Production Manager to lead domestic cut and sew manufacturing operations. In this role, you will help keep orders moving, production schedules on track, teams aligned, and finished products meeting customer expectations. This position works closely with plant leadership, sales, customer service, and procurement to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
• Review incoming customer orders, create production tickets, and establish accurate lead times
• Build, update, and manage weekly production schedules and daily cutting schedules
• Develop cutting patterns and assist with the setup of new production items
• Create and maintain accurate Bills of Material for new and existing products
• Ensure manufactured items are assembled correctly and entered accurately into inventory
• Lead, coach, and support production team members to meet quality and production goals
• Partner with plant leadership, line leads, sales, customer service, and procurement to keep orders on schedule
• Troubleshoot production issues and help remove obstacles that impact workflow or delivery timelines
• Coordinate with procurement regarding material availability, sourcing needs, and production requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve sewing processes, workflow, efficiency, and product quality
• Support sewing machine operators in maintaining production levels, quality standards, and safe work practices

Qualifications
• Hands-on cut and sew industry experience is required
• Textile manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
• Previous supervisory, team lead, or production management experience required
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment with scheduling responsibilities
• Comfortable using ERP, MRP, or other enterprise software systems
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to balance production floor leadership with computer-based administrative responsibilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across production, sales, customer service, and procurement teams
• Proven problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to lead by example in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment

Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
