Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Millwright / Crane Technician to join our construction and crane team. This role is primarily focused on millwright work, with a strong need for welding, maintenance, and mechanical repair skills. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, hardworking, and comfortable working in demanding environments, including elevated heights.
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Millwright / Crane Technician to join our construction and crane team. This role is primarily focused on millwright work, with a strong need for welding, maintenance, and mechanical repair skills. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, hardworking, and comfortable working in demanding environments, including elevated heights.
This position is a great fit for someone with hands-on industrial, construction, or crane-related experience who can troubleshoot equipment, perform installations and repairs, and support field operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform millwright work including installation, maintenance, repair, and alignment of equipment and machinery
- Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on equipment and jobsite machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Assist with crane-related operations and support field crews
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
- Work effectively at heights ranging from ground level to 200+ feet
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, operators, and crew members
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a millwright or in a similar mechanical/construction role
- Welding, maintenance, and strong mechanical skills
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working at heights from 0–200+ feet
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certification
- Blueprint reading ability
- Experience in construction, industrial maintenance, or crane service environments

Compensation/Benefits
- Millwrights: $25–$30/hour depending on experience
- Crane Operators: $30 -35 an hour based on experience
- Foreman Level: $30 -35 based on experience
