Job Description
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks to move raw materials and finished goods throughout a high-volume manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role supports production and distribution operations at a large-scale tissue paper manufacturing facility
Responsibilities:
ï‚· Operate sit-down, stand-up, or clamp forklifts to transport materials and finished products
ï‚· Load and unload trucks, trailers, and railcars as needed
ï‚· Move pallets and paper products between production lines and warehouse storage
ï‚· Stage materials for production and shipping
ï‚· Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to track inventory (if applicable)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Good Attendance is a must.
- Lift Up to 50lbs
