Job Description
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed construction project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective execution. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement scheduling strategies. The position plays a critical role in supporting large-scale construction projects through data analysis, reporting, and coordination. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and expertise in scheduling software.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules including milestones, procurement, and approvals
- Monitor project progress, analyze delays, and provide updates and time impact analyses
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to ensure schedule alignment
- Prepare reports and performance metrics to track project health and forecast completion timelines
- Support scheduling processes, documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2–5 years of construction scheduling experience required (large-scale project experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of an organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
