Job Description
Join an established fabrication company known for quality and reliability as a Sewing Machine Operator on 1st shift. In this role, you will use sewing equipment to complete stitching, hemming, alteration, and assembly work based on work orders and patterns. The position is ideal for someone with hands-on sewing experience, whether from personal alterations, upholstery, home sewing, or industrial production. Success in this role requires accuracy, dependability, and a strong commitment to quality and safe work practices.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sewing machines including straight stitch, zigzag, serger, and other industrial machines
- Perform stitching, hemming, alterations, and assembly tasks according to specifications
- Read and follow work orders and patterns to complete production accurately
- Inspect finished products and maintain quality standards throughout production
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous sewing experience required, whether personal or professional
- Must know how to thread, operate, and troubleshoot a basic sewing machine
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Dependable attendance and the ability to work well as part of a team
