Job Description:
A fast-paced manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Mechanical Lead Engineer to take ownership of product design and development from concept through production. This role is highly hands-on and execution-driven, ideal for an engineer who thrives in building, testing, iterating, and solving real-world engineering challenges. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to bring products to market efficiently while ensuring performance, manufacturability, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical design efforts from initial concept through production release
• Create 3D models and detailed drawings using parametric CAD tools
• Develop prototypes, conduct testing, and refine designs based on performance and usability
• Define materials, components, and manufacturing methods across fabrication and assembly processes
• Support existing products through troubleshooting, redesign, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive multiple projects forward with clear timelines and deliverables
• Manage engineering changes, documentation, and design revisions with structure and discipline
• Collaborate with suppliers and external engineering partners to support development and production readiness
• Develop and execute test plans to validate product performance and durability
• Conduct hands-on field testing and support validation processes
• Utilize AI tools to support design iteration, research, and engineering workflows
