Job Description
As a Forklift Operator supporting warehouse operations, you will handle both material movement and inventory control tasks to ensure accurate and efficient workflow. You will operate smaller forklifts (stand-up reach or sit-down models) and manually move materials throughout the facility to support production, shipping, and receiving. The ideal candidate enjoys being hands-on, pays attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up and smaller forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging within the warehouse
- Perform inventory-related duties, including cycle counts, labeling, and verifying stock accuracy
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to locate, track, and record materials
- Assist in loading, unloading, and staging materials for production and shipment
- Physically handle materials as needed — lifting, stacking, and organizing pallets and boxes
- Maintain clean and organized work areas while ensuring all materials are properly stored and identified
- Follow all safety policies and operating procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current forklift certification and recent experience operating stand-up reach and smaller forklifts (Crown preferred)
- Experience with inventory or warehouse tracking systems a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds safely and work on your feet for long periods
- Excellent attention to detail and strong teamwork and communication skills

The base pay range for this position is $21/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
