Part-time Accounting Consultant is needed to fill a new position for a well-respected client headquartered in Omaha. This role will require the conducting accounting functions for two local retail establishments. We are looking for a person who has retail / hospitality accounting experience that would average 10-15 hours a month. An ideal candidate would be a well-rounded individual who wants to leave their mark on future leaders of the company and has a proven track record of mentoring teammates.

DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Hospitality/ Retail accounting background is a plus
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Experience using QuickBooks Online and other POS systems
- 5+ years of accounting experience
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?
Complete accounting functions while working in a team-oriented environment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Daily transactions
- Pull the month end close together
- Day-to-day journal entries and complete the P&L at the end of the month.
- Monthly and Yearly Financials
- File sales tax returns
- Enter daily sales and invoices
- Assist with 1099s
- Payroll Journal Entries
- Reconciliations – Credit Cards, Bank Account and Sales to Monthly Sales Report
