Job Description
The Director of Estimating is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and transforming the enterprise-wide estimating function across construction and automation. This position will unify teams, modernize processes, and implement forward-thinking tools including AI-driven solutions. The role focuses on long-term strategy and organizational alignment rather than day-to-day estimating execution. This is a high-visibility opportunity to influence operational performance and future growth.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute enterprise estimating strategy across multiple business units
• Oversee and influence a team of approximately 30 estimators, including direct leadership of key team members
• Break down silos between construction and automation estimating functions
• Drive modernization initiatives including process improvements and AI adoption
• Partner with executive leadership to support long-term planning and operational excellence

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Strong background in electrical or industrial construction estimating
• Minimum of 7 years of estimating experience; 10+ years preferred
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and developing talent
• Strategic mindset with ability to lead enterprise-level initiatives
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–25%
